You know what I really love about social media management?

Of course the perks of working for yourself are great - I love not having a cap on my money and being able to decide when, where and how much I’m going to work.

...But, what I really love about being a social media manager is that I truly feel like it fits my personality more than any other job I’ve ever had.

I was never really great at one thing. Growing up, I was just never the kid that was bringing home the huge soccer trophies or casually getting 4.0 stats on my report card. Never really stuck to one thing for very long and I always thought that I had some kind of commitment issues to hobbies & projects. But, really it was just because I liked pretty much everything a little bit.

so often we are brought up to think that being passionate is about being really good at one thing - whether its soccer or bread making - and putting all of our drive and attention into excelling at it. but, really being passionate can look like being good at a lot of things, no matter how minor they are.

Am I the best copywriter? No.
Am I the best content creator on Instagram? Definitely not.

Social Media Management is a job that can be so many different elements and skills put together that it doesn’t matter if I’m the best at one singular thing in the industry. I’m really good at a lot of things and being able to put them in a job together makes me great.
